On Syriza Victory in Greece Election.
No surprises and as expected even better for SYRIZA forecasters and previous polls, Mr Tsipras won a landslide decisive election in Greece, where maybe this country, one of the hardest hit by the recession in the European Union, with almost 40% of the total votes, causing an immediate though soft impact on global markets and tumbling down the euro to its lowest record ever at 1.11 EUR/USD so far. But whats even more surprising is the not so really bad 3rd place taken by the far right and xenophobic Golden Dawn surpassing even the TO POTAMI, which had been doing well in the polls before todays election, and what gives us a stronger long term impression even more so than Mr Tsipras triumph per se, since European far right is growing and more so after the Charlie Hebdo events and the Islamophobia it revealed within the context of the so called PEGIDA movement plagued by anti Islam elements. This reinforced the greek far right and extremists this time. Mmm what could be thinking now Mrs Le Pen and Le Front Nationale in France. But talking about SYRIZA victory, even if its too early to try to predict things in an accurate way, its certain that Greece will no longer be at the hands of the bureaucracy of Brussels, IMF, Washington and the likes, who took Greece as a lab for its tricky economic and financial experiments, and now it will interesting to see the next moves by Mr Tsipras against the in(famous) troika. Undoubtedly, Mr Tsipras will have to restore social stability in the country, and after that move on to taking strong internal economic measures to reposition Greece in the global context. But what will be the geoeconomic and geopolitical consequences of this in the medium term? Interesting the next moves by the Bundestag and Mrs Merkel in Germany and the Kremlin. Will Greece go back to the drachma? Was it better after all these years of being almost the poor neighbor of Europe? Seriously, it has been a long time since Greece has not been in the global news radar until now. Will Greece unleash the decisive end and breakup of the EU as we know it? In Spain PODEMOS is next on the line to capitalize from the left social discontent and grief over erratic social and economic measures from Brussels. The euro just cant catch a break since long, plunging everyweek, everyday, against the dollar, the european economy in shambles and with no sign in short sight of recovery. Was this after all a geostrategic move by Washington and Moscow to finally diminish a such a troublesome bloc such as the EU for their strategic calculus? But overall the most interesting thing and position to watch now is by the Kremlin and the one coming from Germany. Who the new allies of Mr Tsipras will be if not the so called troika, those villains from Brussels? The game, just when we thought was over for Greece, is just getting started. Show is on
