A new landscape for US-Iran relations or is just another bluff?

New elected president in Iran Mr Rouhani has given formidable steps towards a "reset" in the torrid and cold relations between Washington and Tehran for more than 30 years and worsened during Ahmadinejads term in office, and it looks like fitting well within the geopolítical landscape in the Middle East, adding the recent talks between Mr Obama and Mr Rouhani, which was covered in a very positive way by the global media, which fairly saying, its quite surprising, given the tremendous negative views by the media pointing to Iran in many years. Many people thought that Iran was the last and main target of the White House (needless to say controlled by the military-defense-oil establishment) in the macrostrategy for regaining control over the Middle East for Washington, but now with Mr Rouhani apparently and initially setting a new tone and a different pace, things look kinda different though positive for the peace in the Middle Eaast although not for regional powers like Israel and Saudi Arabia, which have both raised concerns for the new rapprochement between Washington and Tehran, and Mr Netanyahu already has said he will plan to go to the US to have talks with President Obama on this issue. Very interesting this turn of events. And pretty much attractive and interesting is to see which country will get and reach a closer Alliance with Mr Rouhani government (will it be Russia, maybe China, nobody knows for certain), and other thing crucial to Irans foreign policy is how Mr Rouhani will assess and manage the very complex internal political dynamic within Iran for example if this will bode well for the very and ultra conservative ayatollahs, the pasdarans and other radical factors who for sure wouldnt be very happy for all this dramatic turn of events smartly conducted by Mr Rouhani, and how will this influence the regional power plays throughout the whole Middle East and the Persian Gulf. Overall and as a final thought on this one can see that this is a very wisely played political and strategic move that maybe in the long term could exert Iran a mayor influence in the región and in a more benevolent way. But nobody knows so far if this is going to be a bluff or is it for real. Time will tell.
